While continuing to revitalize the town and looking for a new place to combine all of their offices into one space, the Town of Remington found their solution in a forgotten building. The 6,000 square foot extensive renovation converted a former regional bank branch into new offices for the variety of tasks the city performs. KJG teamed up with civil engineers, HWC Engineering, and interior designers, Studio RD, to provide greater accessibility and rejuvenate the space with a modern palette on traditional design elements. Numerous offices were added for the variety of town staff, while also adding a city meeting room and even retrofitting the former bank vault into a private conference room. Exterior improvements also included more accessible entrances, along with converting the former drive-thru canopy into the primary entrance highlighted with lush landscaping in efforts to continue beautifying Remington.
